ParentingPatch.com is seeking several news writers to cover parenting news.

Topics

  • Family Entertainment
  • Children’s Health
  • Pregnancy News
  • Education News
  • Viral Parenting Stories (Trends, TikTok Videos, etc)
  • And other areas of interest for parents.

To Be Considered

  • Be a Parent (we write a lot in first person, and parenting is a must).
  • Be located in the United States (much of our content is specific to the United States, and a complete understanding of US culture is a must).
  • Be able to quickly and accurately post parenting news, both through Slack assignments and from your own findings.

    • Our parenting news stories range from 500 to 1500 words, and we pay on a sliding scale depending on the type / length of news being covered. We’ve surveyed our writers to determine the amount of time it takes to complete stories, and the average pay typically comes out to $15 to $20 per hour, depending on a writer’s own abilities.
