This senior-level management position oversees and directs all aspects of the Food & Beverage, Merchandise, Games, Warehouse departments, and Revenue Partners, while providing the strategic and operational leadership necessary to achieve all business plan goals established for the IPR Division.
Responsibilities :
Develops department-specific business plans and ensures their coordination into the Park and company wide goals.Manages the operations of all in-park revenue locations including Food & Beverage and Merchandise and Games, as well as oversees the operation of the Warehouse department.Oversees management and relationships with Revenue Partners.Budgets and maintains department operating expenses, labor, revenue, and cost of sales, including accurate monthly financial forecasting.Develops and implements new and creative food, merchandise and games concepts.Maintains guest satisfaction levels as related to park cleanliness, staff guest service, and efficient operation of each revenue location.Participates in long-range planning for continued net profit growth of the revenue departments.Interfaces with Six Flags Corporate to ensure company goals are met.Functions as Manger on Duty as assigned.Assists with all other duties as assigned by the Park Manager.Provides guest service according to Six Flags Entertainment Corporation standards when serving the guest, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.Performs other duties as assigned.Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.Meets Six Flags Entertainment Corporation's attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags Entertainment Corporation's attendance policies.Adheres to Six Flags Entertainment Corporation's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park / division specific policies and procedures.Provides guest service according to Six Flags Entertainment Corporation standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.Qualifications :
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Strong knowledge of food, merchandise and games operations, budgeting, and financial forecasting, along with the ability to manage multiple revenue streams and lead diverse teams effectively. They demonstrate proven leadership in driving change to enhance both guest and team member experiences, and exhibit excellent written and oral communication, mathematical, and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and motivational abilities are essential, as well as being detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, and a working knowledge of Minnesota Department of Health regulations is preferred.Education : High school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related degree required.License or Certification : Valid driver’s license. Food Safety Certification preferred.Experience : At least five years of progressive experience in theme park management with a strong background in revenue-related disciplines.Equivalency : Directly related experience or a combination of education and experience may be considered in place of the above requirements.
