Benefits Specialist UREGENT HIRE

Overview

Benefits Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective administration and utilization of employee benefit programs with a focus on end user support. This position requires a combination of expertise in benefits administration, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing employee well-being through comprehensive support for benefit plans, enrollments, communications, and wellness initiatives.

Compensation

Base pay range : $70,000.00 / yr - $80,000.00 / yr. Range : $70K - 80k plus Annual 15% bonus on top of salary.

Responsibilities

Support the administration and utilization of employee benefit programs with a focus on end user support. Activities include benefits enrollment, communication with employees, and implementing wellness initiatives to enhance employee well-being. Provide clear information and guidance to employees regarding benefit plans and related processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in benefits, wellness, and end user support
• Strong knowledge of employee benefit plans, regulations, and industry best practices
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) highly desirable
• Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, etc.). Data visualization experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of benefits regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset with the ability to handle confidential matters professionally
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems is a plus
