Production Engineer

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Production Engineer acts as a technical resource for Operations personnel in the plant, applying technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems and enable safe and efficient production of quality products. The Engineer is expected to be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of teams to implement change effectively and sustain the gains. The Engineer is expected to be able to thrive in a fast paced and very dynamic environment.

The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $100,000 - $125,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Serves as a technical resource on the technical capability and capacity of the production plant. Understands the chemistry of the plant. Understands how the plant operates. Understands key Health, Safety and Environmental parameters including reactive chemical concerns and process safety requirements. Understands the customer specifications and expectations for the product.
