What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the education location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.

Collaborate with campus staff and / or law enforcement as needed during emergencies or incidents.

Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
