Role : Desktop Support Engineer

Role Summary :
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support for end users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The role involves troubleshooting, installations, configurations, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide onsite Level 2 -3 desktop support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, laptops, desktops, and printers .
- Troubleshoot issues related to O365, VPN, Outlook, and remote connectivity .
- Perform user account management (password resets, permissions, AD support).
- Support software installations, updates, and patch management.
- Manage and maintain inventory of IT assets and peripherals .
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams for escalations.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain service records in ITSM tools.
- Ensure compliance with company security and IT policies .
Required Skills & Experience :
3-6+ years of hands-on experience in desktop or IT support .Strong knowledge of Windows 10 / 11, Active Directory, O365, and basic networking .Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.) .Familiarity with imaging tools (SCCM, MDT) and hardware troubleshooting.Understanding of printers, scanners, and peripheral device setup .Ability to work independently and support users face-to-face.Preferred Qualifications :
CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification preferred.Prior experience in a corporate or managed services environment.
