About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of kitchen operations during service, support menu execution, and ensure high standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness. You’ll work closely with the Chef and management team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute prep and line cooking during service with precision and consistency
Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
Support daily prep schedules and station setup / breakdown
Train and mentor junior line cooks and prep staff
Communicate clearly and efficiently with front-of-house and back-of-house teams
Uphold kitchen organization, cleanliness, and inventory control
Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory management as needed
Contribute to seasonal menu development and specials
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience (preferably in high-volume or upscale dining)
Strong knife skills and familiarity with multiple cooking techniques
Leadership qualities and ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Food Handler’s Certificate preferred
