Director of Research and Evaluation

A company is looking for a (Senior) Director of Research and Evaluation to lead research efforts and communicate impact in higher education.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and oversee a multi-year research and evaluation agenda aligned with organizational goals

Lead a cross-disciplinary research team to conduct studies assessing program effectiveness and institutional impact

Translate research insights into organizational strategy and serve as a spokesperson for research initiatives

Required Qualifications

8-13 years of experience in applied research, evaluation, or social / behavioral science, preferably in education or nonprofit settings

Doctorate in a social or behavioral science field; a master's degree with extensive applied research leadership may be considered

Demonstrated success in leading mixed-methods research teams and managing complex portfolios

2+ years of people management experience

Experience building or scaling research infrastructure is a plus
