Child Psychiatrist
Child Psychiatrist - New Haven, CT (New Graduates can also apply)

Job Summary : The Child Psychiatrist provides child psychiatric and consultative care for patients using our integrated care model which is designed to address complex health and social challenges in a Patient-Centered Medical Home model.
Responsibilities :
- The Child Psychiatrist treats mental, emotional, and behavioral issues in children.
- Reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health.
- Meet with patients to assess their illnesses, problems, or limitations.
- Diagnose and manage affective, thought, personality, developmental, and anxiety disorders.
Requirements :
- MD or DO and completion of psychiatry residency training program and two years of specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry required.
- New Graduates can also apply.
- Must be licensed in the State of CT.
- Oral and written fluency in English required; Spanish highly desired.
- Experience in ambulatory or outpatient integrated care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is essential.
- Experience with Epic preferred.
