Accounting Consultant - Bradenton (Hybrid)

Senior Accounting Consultant

RGP is seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Consultant to support our client in the manufacturing industry, located in Bradenton, FL. This engagement offers the opportunity to stabilize and streamline accounting operations ahead of an upcoming acquisition. The client currently has limited system use, and the goal is to stand up a functional accounting department and transition from manual processes to QuickBooks.

Responsibilities include :

• Assessing the current accounting environment and establishing best-practice processes for daily operations.
• Leading the migration of data from Clover to QuickBooks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Partnering closely with the current team, providing guidance and structure to obtain necessary financial data and documentation.
• Developing and documenting procedures to support a sustainable accounting function post-transition.
• Managing general accounting duties such as reconciliations, reporting, and inventory accounting.
