Shift : Alternate Work Week schedule of Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6 : 00am - 6 : 30pm
What You Will Do :
- Progress workforce hiring for the logistics organization. Responsible for evaluating, coaching, guiding, and identifying learning opportunities for direct hourly team members.
- Provide leadership and direction to employees, with emphasis on team building and standard work execution through effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes.
- Manage employee performance and skill development.
- Support cross-functional project planning activities to support Asheville production readiness.
- Support inventory control, analysis, and classification according to material management procedures to ensure effective logistics deployment across the site.
- Support materials and inventory audits to ensure availability of all materials for production.
- Support a responsive and adaptive culture where cross-training, teamwork, and knowledge sharing is ingrained within the team's culture.
- Support functional provision to the shipping / receiving and material kitting departments.
- Support development of plan for every part, inclusive of parts, tooling & non-product.
- Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving, to warehouse, to production.
- Support material & tooling inventory, flow of material in / out of the building, and import / export controls.
- Support development digital technology measurements to ensure receiving, shipping & warehousing operations are always healthy and / or to be able to identify areas of opportunity quickly.
Qualifications You Must Have :
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.Qualifications We Prefer :
Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.Preferred lean management knowledge.Time management skills and the ability to delegate.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Problem-solving skills.Must be willing to occasionally travel for training to other company facilities.Available to work overtime as required.This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
