Join Our Team as a Lead Resilience & Code Compliance Officer
Are you passionate about building stronger, safer, and more sustainable communities? We're looking for a dedicated professional to lead efforts that make our neighborhoods better places to live, work, and thrive.
In this role, you’ll inspect properties to ensure they meet important city codes and ordinances that protect public safety, promote environmental health, and enhance quality of life. You'll also play a key role in helping our community prepare for and recover from disasters by supporting resilience and sustainability projects.
As a leader on our team, you’ll supervise and mentor staff, including Resilience Officer I and Code Enforcement Trainee positions. You’ll collaborate closely with residents, neighborhood associations, city departments, and partner organizations to solve problems, respond to community concerns, and bring positive change to the places people call home.

Minimum Training & Experience
Possession of a bachelor’s degree in, information systems, computer science or a related field and three years of professional and technical experience that includes installation and maintenance of network systems firewalls, network design, Internet and Intranet and wireless support.

Possession of a high school diploma or GED and seven years of professional and technical experience that includes installation and maintenance of network systems firewalls, network design, Internet and Intranet and wireless support.
Necessary Special Requirements
Applicant must successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal background screening and obtain Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) within 30 days of employment.
Salary Range
$24.1863 to $65.6314 / hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $44.8486 / hour
Driver's License Requirements
Must possess a valid Class-E State driver's license at the time of appointment.
