We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our Administrative team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, building, and maintaining robust data platform solutions that enable seamless data flow and empower analytics across the organization. As a full-time member of our team, you will ensure our data infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and secure to meet the evolving needs of the company. This is an hourly, full-time position requiring strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic environment. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms to support organizational data needs.
- Build efficient ETL pipelines to collect, process, and store large datasets from diverse sources.
- Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize data workflows and improve data accessibility.
- Conduct regular system monitoring and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the data platform infrastructure.
- Document processes, standards, and technical configurations to assist future project developments.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Data Platform Engineer or in a similar role working with data infrastructure.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.Strong knowledge of database systems, both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data management and deployment.Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and pipeline development techniques.Familiarity with big data tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).The pay range for this role is :
21.78 - 28.66 USD per hour(NEPA)
