Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and experienced Dietary Manager to join it's 66-bed skilled nursing facility in Winston-Salem, NC !
Responsibilities :
- Manage the food service department to provide excellent service and quality
- Work with dietitians / chefs to create high level menus which deliver nutritional value
- Daily inspections / assessments to ensure compliance
- Oversee inventory to ensure budget compliance for food, supplies, and payroll
- Lead team member recruiting, onboarding and training
- Interdepartmental communications to foster teamwork atmosphere to achieve goals
- Must be able to lift / carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push / pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
Qualifications :
- Current ServSafe certification is required
- 5+ years of related operations experience and management
- An associate’s degree or higher in food service management, culinary, or hospitality
