Job
Description
The Nutrition and
Dietetics department programs are accredited by the Accreditation
Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). The
Clinical Assistant Professor / Clinical Associate Professor will
teach Didactic Program in Dietetics courses in person and Master of
Science in Nutrition with Dietetic Internship online courses on
various topics within nutrition and dietetics. The successful
candidate will also participate in scholarly inquiry, and
participate in professional and university service.
This position is not eligible for new visa
sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S.
work authorization may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching ACEND-accredited undergraduate courses and
ACEND-accredited graduate courses.
Advising
students through Capstone projects.
Participating in campus and system-wide committees.
Working collaboratively and productively with
colleagues.
Participating in traditional
academic functions.
Developing and maintaining
a scholarship line of research.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications for Clinical Assistant Professor
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through CDR
and eligible for licensure in the state of Idaho.
Master's degree in a dietetics-related field.
Ability to teach ACEND-accredited courses.
Evidence of active involvement with state,
regional, and / or national dietetic associations.
Desire and ability to establish an active
scholarship line of research.
Minimum
Qualifications for Clinical Associate Professor
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through CDR
and eligible for licensure in the state of Idaho.
Master's degree in a dietetics-related field.
At least four years teaching experience.
Established publication record in nutrition
and dietetics-related professional journals.
Consistent record of nutrition and dietetics-related professional
service.
Preferred
Qualifications
PhD or
equivalent in a dietetics-related field.
Additional Information

Salary will be between the following
salary ranges per year, commensurate with education and experience :
$64,000 - $67,000
for Clinical Assistant Professor
$70,000
