We have an immediate opening for an experienced lead residential AV programmer / technician with Control4 and / or Savant certification.
Starting salary up to $25 / hr depending upon experience with health insurance and paid vacation. Audio Video has been the leading residential electronics and integration company in Central Texas since 1977.
Job Summary :
Works with other installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls. Responsible timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned.
Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.

- Ability to use hand and power tools
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Install and program distributed audio / video systems
- Satellite / Cable systems setup and install
- Advanced troubleshooting of audio / video systems
- Networking / data system installation and setup
- Programming single-room and advanced systems
- Understanding of multi-room systems and setup
- CEDIA ESTII or better certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Completion of ProSource University within the first year of employment
Minimum Job Requirements :
- MUST HAVE Control4 and / or Savant Certification
- IT networking experience and / or certifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
- Ability to work on rotating on-call service schedule
- Competent skills with desktop and mobile computing
- Clean driving record and background check
- Crestron, Lutron and / or URC experience is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience
