ROLEOVERVIEW

As a strategicRelationship Manager at ABGi, you will report to a National Managerand be focused on developing and expanding an assigned territorywithin the CPA networks.

As a subject matter expert in tax creditsand incentives, you will be the face to ABGi and partner with CPAsas a knowledge leader to their clients to generate referrals.

On arecurring basis, you will partner with marketing to lead CPE’s,webinars, attend industry events locally, regionally, andnationally related to tax and tax credits while also networkingwith industry leaders.

You will build a market network of CPAs,lobby leaders, and partnerships that will provide leads andintroductions that return in ROI to ABGi.

T his is aremote position based on your territory and requires 40 to 50%travel. Onboarding is based in Houston, Texas.

A DAY IN THELIFE

  • Actively manage afull territory from identification, prospecting, to referral andpartnership with Sr. Sales Directors in producing qualifiedreferrals from the CPA Channels and qualified Channel Partners.
  • Build and manage a full portfolio of CPA’sthrough both in-person and virtual meetings with a focus on themid-market and enterprise, with quarterly meetings.
  • Act as an ambassador in the CPA partner channel,representing ABGi as a professional specialty tax consultant byproducing related content, attending industry events, producingCLE’s and being a trusted partner.
  • Activelybe responsible for producing and hitting monthly revenue targets aspart of the business development team.
  • Continue to market and service new CPA’s and build outexisting CPA relationships by producing related tax content andfind non-traditional methods to provide new value.
  • Actively produce cold calling campaigns, email campaigns,in-person visits, webinars, partner with marketing, attendnetworking events and all other revenue generating activity toproduce referrals that lead to a close.
  • Continually report on territory metrics while working inSalesforce and partner with other business development team andsales support as needed.

BASICQUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Accounting, Engineering,Economics, or other related degree from an accredited university isrequired.
  • Minimum of 5 plus years’ experiencein a business development and / or sales background with a focus in aprofessional services selling environment.
  • Must have experience in B2B sales.
  • Previous experience with channel sales and partnershipsales is preferred.
  • Must have experienceworking within a sales related CRM Salesforce is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Experience selling or partnering in the CPA industry
  • Must have strong written and oralcommunication skills
