Essential Functions

The Community Benefits Coordinator assists community members with understanding and applying for benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Familiarity with government-sponsored benefits eligibility requirements and guidelines.
• Assist community members with questions and applications for government-sponsored benefits.
• Participate in external marketing events.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect personal information.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and anti-kickback regulations.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Work cooperatively with team members and carrier representatives.
• Engage in patient support, interaction, and event planning.
• Organize work area to complete assignments efficiently.
• Attend training and stay updated on benefits guidelines.

Qualifications

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Standard office environment. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and travel. Exposure to variable weather and frequent driving required.

Travel

Primarily local, with some out-of-area and overnight travel possible.
