Summary
The Warehouse Associate / Merchandise Processor ’s primary responsibility is supporting the Buying & Merchandising teams in their efforts to maximize sales and profit for the Rock Hall Museum store, airport store, and ecommerce site, by managing inventory, shrink, and shipping and logistics.
This person will act as liaison between buying team and in-store team, while simultaneously managing our back end receiving system (Shopventory) to ensure timely receipt and accurate stock levels.
This person will ensure the right product goes to the right store locations, in correct quantities, at the correct time to maximize seasonal sales.
Accuracy, attention to detail, a resolution-oriented attitude and clear communication with cross functional teams are a must.
Objectives
- Ensures that all merchandise is sales floor ready by checking all details against PO and confirming accuracy within systems.
- Assists warehouse supervisor in receiving deliveries to execute daily deliveries within expected timeframe.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assists in receiving daily deliveries from vendors, confirms accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Processes all merchandise and counts, allocates, and confirms accuracy against vendor tags within specific time frame for daily deliveries.
- Notifies management of all QA issues.
- Pull and pack product against weekly replenishment orders and confirm accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Delivers to locations in company vehicle weekly or up to daily and ensure accuracy of packing lists / slips.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Retail or warehouse experience preferred
- Highly motivated, detail oriented and ability to shift priorities and embrace change
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational communication and computer skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical duties as needed.
- Excel & Microsoft Suite a plus
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Driver License with clean driving record

Working Conditions
Environmental Parameters : Ability to work in a window-less office, non-temperature-controlled and sometimes dusty warehouse.
Ability to work in confined areas (Store stock room). Ability to work in crowds of people. Ability to work with loud house music.
Ability to independently for extended periods of time.

Work involves walking or standing most of the time but may involve sitting for brief periods of time.
Equipment Used
- Computers, telephone, walkie talkies, calculator, cash register and other retail equipment.
- Pallet Jack, other warehouse equipment as needed.

Typical warehouse hazards. Must be willing to follow all warehouse procedures.

to place and retrieve items.

Benefits, Compensation, and Notes
This full-time position has an hourly rate of $16.00. The Rock Hall offers a generous benefits package including 4 plan options for health insurance.
All other benefits are company paid including dental, vision, and life insurance. Other perks include 403b, and yearly paid time off including : 10 vacation days, 12 sick days, 3 personal days, 14 paid holidays, and 4 paid volunteer days.
The warehouse is off-site and is in close proximity to the museum. The majority of your schedule will be working at the off-site warehouse but occasionally you will need to work at the Museum location.
