Environmental Engineer
Allied Resources is looking for a Environmental Engineer who will be responsible for the implementation of environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements.
This is a full-time direct-hire opportunity located in Greater Richmond, VA that offers a competitive base salary up to $140k / yr.

Job Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with environmental personnel at both site and regional levels, alongside operations, maintenance, and engineering leadership, to seamlessly integrate environmental standards into plant-level protocols.
- Review and analyze environmental documentation issued by regulatory agencies.
- Determine impact on operations, and publish compliance strategies and requirements.
- Engage with regulatory authorities to address compliance concerns, establish permit prerequisites, and provide support during regulatory inspections.
- Develop environmental management systems to facilitate an increase in understanding and accountability to ensure compliance with program requirements.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent field required.
- Must have an uncompromising drive for compliance and willingness to escalate issues as needed.
- Experience working with Environmental Management Systems.
