Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of The James, the CMO will be the senior clinical leader for medical staff affairs and clinical performance. The CMO will partner with leaders across The James, the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC), the College of Medicine, and the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) to ensure world-class patient care, foster innovation, and strengthen the culture of collaboration, quality, and service excellence.
The CMO role is an 80% FTE commitment. Role allocation includes : 30% clinical vision and oversight, 20% quality / safety / patient experience, 20% physician liaison, 10% philanthropy / community engagement, plus 20% active clinical practice.
