Job descriptionBasic Carpentry and Painting Skills Experience in trades including electrical, plumbing, HVAC Ability to work independently Knowledge of building automation systems Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to read and write repair orders Ability to provide positive customer service experience Ability to operate various hand and power tools Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electricity Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building Groundskeeping of lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance Interpersonal skills to interact with employees and / or customers. Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building Flexible hours and schedules, part-time or full-time! Common Man Roadside is hiring a Maintenance Technician!
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall safety and appearance of the properties. This position does require travel between the locations in a company vehicle.
Position Responsibilities :
- Snow removal and snow plowing
- Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, drywall, and ceilings
- Schedule and conduct regular interior and exterior facility inspections
- Identify needed improvements and create work orders for routine and repairs
- Mitigate hazards and promote a safety-oriented culture
- Performs other duties as assigned
