This role is intended to be a contract-to-hire role

Responsibilities :

Our engineers are responsible for the delivery of complex construction packages, including tool installation design. You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks. As you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks, you'll effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. You'll coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. You will work in a multi-disciplinary collaborative team environment.

You will produce single-line diagrams depicting electrical power systems 208Y / 120V through 480V, installation details, electric room layouts, tool installation connection diagrams, cable tray layouts, cable schedules, power plans, lighting plans, breaker coordination studies, and Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studies. You will support senior engineers in the selection and specification of electrical equipment. Duties may also include providing on-site assistance during startups.

Here is what you'll need :

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program in Electrical or Renewable Energy.
• Minimum 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience related to facility engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Working knowledge of CAD and / or BIM modeling software.
• Strong skill set to digitally markup drawings, utilizing applications such as Autodesk Design Review and BIM360 for the purpose of delegating to a designer.
• Experience working in construction environments, including field verifications.
• Familiarity with design and construction project delivery, from project initiation, detailed design, specification format, and services during construction.
