Location : This is a remote-first role based in the U.S. We value flexible, distributed work and expect in-person connection through occasional on-sites.

Overview

GiveCampus is seeking a Solutions Consultant to play an integral role on the Sales team. The role collaborates with Account Executives and schools to understand fundraising needs and connect the value we sell with the solutions that deliver that value. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fundraising and technology solutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Consultative selling : Work with sales to understand fundraising needs and provide tailored product demonstrations, technical deep dives, and Q&A discussions that showcase GiveCampus's capabilities in the context of the value delivered.
  • Proposal development : Collaborate with sales to create and deliver compelling proposals, RFP responses, and other client documentation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration : Partner with Product, Partner Success, and Marketing to provide feedback, improve offerings, and ensure a smooth handoff from sales to implementation.
  • Market expertise : Stay current on trends in education fundraising, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to position GiveCampus as the best choice for schools.
  • Client engagement : Build relationships with key decision-makers within schools and universities, acting as the go-to expert throughout the sales process.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a solution consultant in SaaS.
  • Experience working with schools, universities, or non-profit organizations is a strong plus.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into accessible, client-facing solutions.
  • Experience conducting executive-level, value-centered demos to large institutions.
  • Strong desire to contribute to shaping a best-in-class sales organization.
  • Dedication to GiveCampus's mission of advancing education quality, affordability, and accessibility.
  • Bonus Points If You Are / have

  • Startup experience with the ability to innovate and execute without heavy reliance on process.
  • Knowledge of fundraising roles and responsibilities in educational settings; fundraising experience is a plus.
  • Experience with non-profit fundraising, crowdfunding, peer-to-peer fundraising, or related activities.
  • Volunteer experience helping a school raise money or engage alumni (e.g., class agent, class chair / ambassador, reunion committee).
