Position Summary

Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback. Manages freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment for example, single and double pallet jack, lift pacer identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight utilizing warehouse management system terminal scales and scanners and maintaining records, logs, and forms. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Keeping work area organized and maintaining freight flow by stacking empty pallets and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack and / or powered equipment. Monitoring freight to ensure cold-chain and species compliance.
