Operations Specialist II- Bannockburn, IL (hybrid)

Aon is looking to fill an Operations Specialist I role! As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk in Bannockburn, IL.

This is a hybrid role based out of Bannockburn, IL office.

What the day will look like

Assist the Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serve clients (including complex clients) and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes. Account Specialists will also assist Brokers as necessary particularly on Commercial Risk business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Job Responsibilities :

  • Routinely and effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are

being met.

  • Setup and manage policy renewal projects when clients renew insurance policies or are
  • being onboarded.

  • Produce evidence of insurance posting notices, Auto identification cards, Policy Declaration
  • pages and certificates of insurance based on a client's request.

  • Research general questions about auto ID cards, certificates, workers compensation posting
  • notices, e.g., state regulatory rules.

  • Provide quality checks on data entered and research any errors.
  • With assistance from senior team members, address and complete special client projects.
  • Ability to work from 10am - 7pm (CST)
  • Qualifications :

  • High school graduate or higher
  • Entry level opportunity for individual with office experience; Insurance industry experience a
  • plus

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong digital literacy is a must, including Excel skills to import / export / verify data
  • Successfully operates in a fast-paced output driven environment that requires staff members
  • to multi-task, react quickly and perform tasks that are not routine

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written on client servicing activities

    Salary range or hourly pay range for the position

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $40,000 to $50,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
