Responsibilities of the Sr. Accountant :
- The Sr. Accountant will resolve and book daily, monthly, and yearly journal entries
- Reconcile the higher level and higher risk general ledger accounts on a daily basis, and ensure any discrepancies are resolved
- The Sr. Accountant will help with the full month-end close process
- Assist with all internal and external audits
- Provide support for monthly flux reviews of the financial statements
- The Sr. Accountant will assist the Accounts Payable Manager in escalated AP issues and vendor communication
Background Expected of the Sr Accountant :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or experience equivalent
- 5+ years' experience in a Staff / Sr. Accounting role
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and v-lookups
- Supervisory experience is a plus
