About The Position

Job Title : Float Pool Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Critical Care Float

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 2 years in ICU and ED required

License : Must have state / compact license in hand

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS required; NIH and TNCC preferred

Must-Have :

• Float Pool experience
• Experience with para / thoracentesis, intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement
• Competence in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience in care of ventilated patients

Description :

The position is for a Float Pool Registered Nurse with ICU and ED experience.

The nurse will float as needed within the facility.

Ratios are 1 : 2 for patient care.

Every other weekend is required.

Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory.

Preferred certifications include NIH and TNCC.

The Float Pool RN will respond to rapid response calls as part of a team.

The role requires ability to manage high-acuity patients and be proficient in critical care skills.

The clinician will be expected to work with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Flu vaccinations are required during flu season.
