Job descriptionHospital in Southern Arizona is looking for RNs to complete a 13 week assignment on their Med Surg Tower 4 unit. The right candidates will have 3+ years of experience and have an active BLS. 3+ years of experience Active BLS certification EPIC experience required Active AZ or Compact license Start dates are not flexible. Shifts : 6 : 45 - 7 : 15am / pm Weekend Requirement : Every other Holiday Requirement : Typically 2 / 3 holidays Floating Requirements : Med Surg and ICU for stable patients Department : MedSurg | Tele | Ortho Orthopedic patients : all, abd pain, COPD, overdose, ETOH, weakness, psych, surgical. NURSE PATIENT RATIOS : DAYS | 1 : 5-6 NIGHTS | 1 : 6 # of Beds : 36 Common titratable & / or set rate drips : May see heparin on occasion. Charge Nurse on each shift : Yes, unless need to take patients due to census. PCA on unit : 1 : 8-12 Dedicated monitor tech will assist with reading tele.
