English Construction is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support our Building & Utility Division. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our construction projects, providing administrative support to project managers, team members in the field, and office staff. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, construction-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Administrative Support
- Assist with daily office operations including filing, scanning, and document management.
- Maintain organized records for jobsite documentation, permits, and project files.
Subcontract Agreement Management
Create project- specific subcontract agreements using DBIA, AIA, and Boiler Plate templates.Ensure all required exhibits of contracts are included.Manage subcontract variations between Virginia and North Carolina.Help manage subcontractor and owner communications.Create and track subcontractor setup, contracts (to include AIA and DBIA contracts), purchase orders, and change orders.Send and receive all documents pertaining to project setup.Receive and track certificates of insurance for subcontractors.Project Proposal and Bidding
Create project proposals per specifications and deadlines.Assist the estimating team in the bid schedule for the building and utility division.Compliance & Reporting
Ensure all administrative tasks comply with company policies and procedures.Assist in preparing reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as needed.
