Pay rate : $20.00 - $29.00 / hour DOE

Summary

Come join our Client’s Account Risk Management team as a Risk Management Representative with our QuickBooks Capital Underwriting department.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an operations mindset and strong analytical skills to support our QuickBooks customers in their quest for funding to grow their business.

Responsibilities

  • Using our proprietary models, you will analyze information provided on commercial loan applications and other third party sites to determine credit worthiness and appropriately assess risk
  • Apply defined procedures to independently review and evaluate new and existing customers -Determine outcome of loan applications while adhering to Compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Make outbound calls to customers to validate information when necessary -Improve Underwriting process, policy, and workflow while identifying areas in need of further incremental improvement -Raise organizational awareness of issues and works to mitigate risk -Plan for efficient Underwriting work flow as the business scales
  • Specialize in determining a business's or individual's credit worthiness. Looks at all past credit purchases and, based on their findings, decides if a person or a corporation is worthy to receive a loan.

Reviewing numerical figures as a part of their daily function. Assess credit risk. A

ggregate and evaluate data related to credit and credit risk to support organizational decision-making. Ensure that approved accounts remain in good standing.

Establish terms for approved credit requests.

Qualifications

  • The majority of credit analysts have a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, economics, or accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simply lay out the conclusions and reasons for each decision.
  • Financial background; knowledge of financial statement components and solid understanding of key risk drivers -Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment -Strong analytical and problem-solving background with the ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internal system tools -1-2 years of experience in small business or commercial underwriting -Empathy and understanding of the small business owner and their finances.
  • Operationally savvy with the ability to constantly focus on the process and to develop and implement operational changes in order to improve efficiency and limit risk throughout the underwriting process

Work schedule : Hybrid work schedule requires 2-3 days in the office a week
