Who You Are
You are a collaborative, detail-oriented leader with a deep understanding of data movement, integrations, and compliance across marketing technology ecosystems. You excel at building cross-functional partnerships, relationships with clients and partners and have a knack for translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements and understand the complex scenarios clients navigate to make their data work for them. You don't just "move the data"you own the data pipelines, ensuring data delivers clear business value, is prioritized appropriately, and is designed for long-term scalability.

You excel at standardizing data onboarding and transformation processes and advocate for data integrity by socializing best practices.
What You'll Do
First Party and Third Party Onboarding & Integration 25%
- Lead the standardization of first-party data and third-party data onboarding processes across clients and platforms, ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability.
- Oversee CRM, PIXEL / Connect, and MPP integrations, establishing best practices and technical requirements. Maintaining onboarding and transformation standards documentation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align onboarding processes with business goals and technical needs.
Data Transformation & Hygiene 25%
Develop and enforce standardized transformation and hygiene protocols for both first-party and third-party data.Ensure all licensed data is transformed and maintained to accurately feed taxonomies and downstream systems.Partner with Marketing Science to maintain standard documentation for data onboarding, data transformations, hygiene and classifications.Partner with Data Maintenance Director to ensure data is onboarded in accordance with best practices and appropriate monitoring is in place when new data feeds are created.Proof of Concept Leadership 20%
Design and execute proof of concept (POC) onboarding data tests to validate new approaches and technologies.Accelerate the speed of Proof of Concepts (POCs) through standardization and automation.Analyze results and present recommendations for scaling successful POCs into production processes.Cross-Functional Partnership & Stakeholder Management 30%
Serve as Horizon's Subject Matter Expert for data onboarding and data transformation requirements, bridging business needs with technical execution.Build strong relationships with internal business units, product owners, and external partners to align roadmaps and expectations.Foster growth of junior team members and promote strong relationships throughout the organization.Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions for new integrations or enhancements.Job Requirements
BS / BA degree in Marketing, Business, Data / Computer Science, or a related fieldor equivalent experience.7+ years of experience in data operations, product management, or marketing technology, ideally in an agency or media environment.Strong understanding of data integration concepts, APIs, and audience distribution technologies (e.g., CDPs, DMPs, Clean Rooms).Experience managing vendor / partner relationships and cross-functional projects.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Proven experience documenting business use cases, conducting ROI analysis, and prioritizing based on impact and scalability.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Proficiency with tools such as Snowflake, AWS, Tableau, and Jira; experience with data privacy compliance a plus.Experience with ETL tools such as FiveTran, Apache Airflow, or Stitch.Why This Role Rocks
