MATH Teacher/Tutor - Day Time

URGENT HIRING

We are looking for dynamic tutors to teach MATH Tuesday-Friday at local schools during the school day, hours and days may vary.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

POSITION DETAILS :

• Part-Time : 10-20 hours a week, Tuesday-Friday, hours vary
• Duration : April 2024 to May 2024
• Location : Columbus Area Schools
• High School-aged students, Math (Algebra 1 & II, Geometry)

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Valid teaching certificate preferred but not required.

COMPENSATION :

• With Bachelors Degree : From $25.00 per hour.
• With valid Teaching Certification : From $28.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum
• Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs
• Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times
• Maintain student records of attendance and progress
• Administer computerized baseline tests at established intervals
