Job Title : Accounting Specialist

Job Description

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing a variety of financial transactions, entering data into accounting software, generating financial reports, and reconciling accounts. The role also involves managing client and vendor accounts, facilitating payroll processes, and performing various bookkeeping and accounting tasks to ensure that proper accounting procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Process various financial transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, cash management, and bank account reconciliations.
• Enter financial and project data into accounting software and generate necessary reports.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure financial records match bank statements and other sources.
• Calculate and process billings and invoices.
• Manage client and vendor accounts and records.
• Facilitate time entry, maintain deductions, and process payroll through a payroll services company.
• Perform additional bookkeeping and general accounting tasks as necessary.

The position is based in-office, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $30.29 / hr.
