Join our team as an IT Support Specialist and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone with foundational IT knowledge who is eager to expand their skills in a dynamic, hands-on role.
The successful candidate will manage user accounts, configure systems for new users, and ensure the effective deployment of technology across multiple locations.
This is NOT a remote position and requires you to commute to our Meridian Dealership Support Center in Meridian, ID.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in managing and maintaining user accounts using Active Directory.
- Configure and prepare computers for new users
- Support the deployment of systems remotely across multiple states.
- Travel locally to various sites for onsite support and troubleshooting.
- Occasionally travel out of state to assist in setting up new facilities or during major deployments.
- Help in maintaining systems related to DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Respond to user help requests and participate in troubleshooting efforts.
- Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic server administration.
- Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with remote desktop support tools.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS :
- Works primarily indoors. Occasional work outdoors, which is exposed to ambient heat and cold, and to sun, rain and other weather conditions.
- Exposure to noise, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous materials.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be able to travel locally and occasionally out of state as required.
- Lifting : occasionally, up to 50 pounds; rarely, up to pounds. on hard surfaces.
- Sitting : frequently, up to ¾ of work shift
- Lifting : occasionally, up to 50 pounds; rarely, up to pounds.
- Carrying : occasionally, up to 50 pounds for up to feet.
- Bending / twisting : frequently.
- Climbing : rarely, step ladder up to six feet to reach surfaces.
- Reaching : occasionally, extension of arms below, at and above shoulder height.
- Pushing / pulling : Occasionally, up to 30 pounds force.
- Fine manipulation by hand for repair functions.
