Senior Director, Human Resources - Central Teams

We are seeking a candidate who will lead Human Resources strategy across Blizzard's Central Teams - including Story & Franchise Development, Product Management / Global Insights, Marketing, QA, Platform & Technology and IT - building strong relationships with leadership and establishing critical people priorities for the business.
A key advisor to the Chief People Officer, the Senior Director, HR for Central Teams significantly contributes to the company's performance by ensuring the provision of full stack solutions on critical talent, overall workforce effectiveness, and enabling organizational capabilities that directly support the achievement of business objectives.
This position has direct accountability for the strength, productivity, and readiness of the Central Teams workforce to ensure Blizzard maintains its leadership position in the market and grows year over year. The Senior Director, HR is a critical member of the HR leadership team and Blizzard senior leadership team and is accountable for continuously improving the productivity of the workforce by determining and executing the human capital initiatives that enable organizational excellence.
This role provides strategic leadership across the talent lifecycle, integrating workforce planning, organizational design, and employee experience. Responsibilities span talent pipeline development, succession and leadership planning, performance and rewards management, and workforce deployment to align with business priorities. The leader will also shape career architecture, capability building, and engagement strategies to foster a high-performance culture, positioning the workforce as a key driver of long-term enterprise growth.
Partnering with Central Team leaders and HR leadership, this role ensures people strategies align seamlessly with business goals while fostering a culture that supports innovation, resilience, and operational excellence. In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $148,320.00 - $274,320.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
