Senior Analytics Engineer

FocusKPI is  seeking a  Senior Analytics Engineer  on W2 basis, to join one of our clients, a B2B & SaaS company that operates  an AI-powered Global Work Platform.

The client is looking for a Sr.

Analytics Engineer to join their dynamic BI team.

You will use your expertise in data analytics, data modeling, transformation, and reporting to deliver scalable, reliable, and insightful data solutions.

You will shape their analytics infrastructure, guide data-driven decision-making, and ensure that teams across the organization have access to accurate data.

This position is ideal for someone who loves transforming raw data into actionable insights and building reporting solutions that empower teams and meet the needs of multiple partners.

Work Location :

• Palo Alto, CA (on-site 3 days a week); hybrid role Duration :  6-month contract with possibility of extension or conversion depending on your performance in the future; W2- based Pay Range :   $70+ / hr

• Responsibilities :    Build and maintain well-structured, performant data models in dbt following best practices and version control standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (product, engineering, finance, marketing, etc.) to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Gain expert-level knowledge of their data systems, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Develop and optimize Looker dashboards, Explores, and reports to enable self-service analytics across the business.
• Experiment with and implement AI-powered features in Snowflake Cortex and Looker's Gemini to accelerate insight generation and decision-making.
