JOB SUMMARY :

The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated IT professional for the position of Systems / Network Engineer located in Phoenix, Arizona. Reporting to the Systems / Network Manager, this position is responsible for all aspects of networking and information technology systems. Duties include, but are not limited to, architecture, design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of both on-prem and cloud IT infrastructure.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties :

• Assume full lifecycle responsibility for cloud, SaaS, and on-prem systems and projects.
• Administrate on-prem, cloud-based, and SaaS systems.
• Provide guidance, assistance, and knowledge transfer.
• System architecture, design, build, and production rollout.
• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Respond promptly to customer requests for service and assistance while taking a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
• Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Lead initiatives to develop solutions and processes based upon business needs.
• Prioritizes and plans work activities; sets goals and objectives; uses time efficiently; communicates activities and results as appropriate.
• Includes understanding and practical application of project management and business analysis principles and tools.
• Reviews and recommends equipment, resources, software, and services.
