Overview

Job Summary : Provides leadership and direction for the management, design, development, maintenance, and quality control of the library website. Participates in faculty librarian activities including in-person and virtual reference assistance, information literacy instruction and outreach, collection development and the creation of resource guides. Works effectively with other faculty and staff in a rapidly changing team environment. Participates in department, division, and college-wide committees. Regular on-campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the management, design, development, maintenance, and quality control of the library website.
• Participate in faculty librarian activities including in-person and virtual reference assistance, information literacy instruction and outreach.
• Contribute to collection development and the creation of resource guides.
• Collaborate effectively with other faculty and staff in a dynamic team environment.
• Serve on department, division, and college-wide committees.
• Adhere to on-campus presence requirements; manage flexible or hybrid work schedules as approved by the College and subject to change.
