REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 4+ years of Database administration specifically on SQL Server 16 and upwards
- Expertise in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
- Experience with Transparent Data Encryption within SQL Server
- Over 2+ years of experience creating, updating and maintaining systems documentation
- Database Management : Installing, configuring, and upgrading SQL Server database systems
- Performance Optimization : Tuning database performance, optimizing queries, and managing indexes
- Security : Managing user access, permissions, and implementing security policies
- Backup and Recovery : Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery strategies for data protection
- Monitoring : Monitoring database health, performance, and availability
- Troubleshooting : Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues
- Documentation : Creating and maintaining documentation for database configurations and procedures
- Collaboration : Working with developers and other IT professionals to support database needs
