Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst
The Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for supporting the timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to comply with various U.S. GAAP reporting requirements for the Resolution Life.
This position combines technical accounting expertise with analytical skills to support financial reporting, investor communications, and cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial results, ensuring accuracy and transparency in reporting under US GAAP.
- Support the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, including general and separate accounts.
- Prepare regulatory filings, including BEA and 401K financial statements, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
- Conduct detailed analytical reviews of financial results, identifying key performance drivers and recommending corrective or preventative actions as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all financial filings required by investors.
- Monitor updates to US GAAP accounting standards and recommend appropriate implementation strategies for Resolution Life.
- Assist in the development and upkeep of accounting policies to maintain consistency and compliance with US GAAP.
- Support the creation of financial presentations for senior leadership, board meetings, audit committee sessions, and investor communications.
- Drive improvements in reporting processes and internal controls, leveraging automation and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with Actuarial, Investment Accounting, Reinsurance, and FP&A teams to evaluate the financial impact of new business initiatives.
- Mentor junior finance team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Provide analytical and reporting support for internal financial reviews and ad hoc requests from senior leadership.

Knowledge & Experience

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The range for the role may differ based on the location. New York, NY : $111,700- $136,500
