Our client, a large-scale construction and development firm located in Escondido, is looking for a reliable and analytical Certified Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll reporting for public works and government-funded projects. This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of certified payroll, enjoys working in a fast-paced office setting, and is confident navigating the detailed compliance requirements that come with managing multi-state projects.

What You'll Do :

• Prepare, audit, and submit certified payroll reports for various public works contracts.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee hours, classifications, and project data.
• Maintain compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and state prevailing wage regulations.
• Work closely with HR to track apprenticeship ratios, union reporting, and fringe benefits.
• Manage document control for all labor compliance reporting, including LCP Tracker and DIR submissions.
• Support the accounting department with payroll journal entries and reconciliations as needed.
