Summary of Responsibilities
Our growing accounting firm is seeking a full-time Account Manager to oversee a team of bookkeepers and clients. This position will be working directly with the CEO, Client Service Director, and Operations Coordinator on team leadership & development, client management, client strategy, execution, and monthly reporting.
Essential Functions
- Provide day-to-day direction and coaching to assigned bookkeeping team
- Review weekly and monthly financials for assigned bookkeeping team
- Provide leadership, development, and support to assigned team members
- Provide and lead process improvement strategies internally and for clients
- Assist with new employee onboarding and training
- Work with clients to set up and maintain their QBO
- Process weekly transactions for all clients in QBO
- Prepare and file payroll and sales tax returns
- Communicate with clients via Zoom, email, and other approved channels regarding their financials and their business strategies
- Prepare monthly financials and narratives adhering to company standards
- Prepare weekly client dashboards, cash forecasts, and financial reports
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
- 5 years Leadership experience
- Familiar working from home
- QuickBooks Online
- 10+ years accounting experience
- Prior accounting experience in a multi-client environment
Compensation
- $70,000-$80,000
