We are seeking experienced, productive Commercial Service Plumbers with Handyman repair skills to join our team. Must be flexible, motivated, and provide excellent customer service.

Communicate well, use an app for work orders, and document information accurately. Maintain timely and consistent communication with internal and external customers.

Plumbing Requirements :

• Troubleshoot, assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems according to plumbing codes
• Service, repair, and install commercial plumbing systems, including leaky faucets, power rodding, water line jetting, water heater installation, etc.
• Prepare job scope-of-work with time estimates and material requirements
• Follow state and local plumbing regulations and adhere to OSHA safety standards

Handyman Requirements

Our clients have a wide range of simple items that break down or need replacing. We need someone who can problem solve and handle basic repairs such as :

• Basic Maintenance like re-securing a cabinet door, adjust a door to close properly, replacing ceiling tiles, and so on.
• Complete Assessments and Checklists where we go through a location and tighten all cabinet hinges, inspect for other repairs needed, ensure all outlets have proper cover plates, and so on.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, climb stairs, and climb ladders up to 35 feet repeatedly and bend, stretch, lift, and move heavy objects (50-65 lbs) multiple times during a shift
• Operate and maintain power equipment and vehicles, including ability to operate and navigate a work van for extended periods of time in various weather conditions

General Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven work experience as a plumber
• Willingness to learn basic electrical repairs and painting;
• Proficiency in all aspects of plumbing and service maintenance plumbing
• Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to conduct oneself with integrity and professionalism
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check
• Proficiency in using smartphones and / or tablets

The hourly rate for the Plumber / Handyman position at our company is $22 to $30 per hour, with additional shift differentials available.

This position services the Boston, MA area, Connecticut, and NY (specifically Rochester, Albany, and Syracuse, NY).
