USDA-Vendor Manager

Job Description

ISN is seeking a Vendor Manager to be responsible for assisting the vendor technicians as it relates to managing, preserving, and disposing of single-family homes (1-4 units) Real Estate Owned (REO) and custodial properties.

The Vendor Manager must ensure that subcontractors are qualified, trained, and able to conduct and submit work product timely, to client specifications, and efficiently.

The Vendor Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Oversight of vendor technicians to include training, production, and assessment of work product and assignments · Ensure high quality vendors are selected for work assignments, based on previous work quality and vendor scorecards.
• Work closely with other Managers to resolve escalated issues or concerns · Compile client and management required reporting.
• Experience interacting with vendors, HOA and city / county code compliance personnel, and if applicable, law enforcement.
• Recruit new property inspectors, property preservation, appraisal, title, environmental companies, real estate agents, etc.

as needed in their respective geographic areas to accomplish required services.

• Interact with vendors to ensure overall cost efficiency of vendor pricing, but not at the expense of the property.
• Vette vendor bids for necessary repairs and services for properties to ensure job will be done properly and to client specs at a fair price.
• Coordinate on behalf of the vendor with our accounting department to ensure vendor invoicing is processed in a timely manner
• Ensure all properties have the vendors required for surge, seasonal services, or weather disasters.

Qualifications

Must pass pre-employment screening and undergo government suitability investigation.

7+ years experience recruiting, managing, and coordinating vendors in default and / or real estate service environment. Government owned property experience a plus.

Experience :

• Excellent communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette and a demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in verbal and written forms and instant messaging environment with teammates.
• Above average computer skills working in proprietary software environment Ability to meet hard deadlines and work in fast-paced environment.

Keen as to where and how to locate small vendors for rural properties.
