Sitework Designer

Mid-level design position focused on sitework grading and drainage projects, supporting utility infrastructure development through advanced 3D modeling and technical design leadership.

• Key Responsibilities
• Produce complex 3D models and design drawings for sitework grading and drainage systems
• Prepare detailed project layouts and conceptual designs
• Review and approve vendor drawings and specifications
• Generate material takeoffs and support cost estimation processes
• Travel to project sites and client locations (25% travel required)
• Required Qualifications
• 5-7 years of related design experience
• Technical degree preferred (Engineering, Design, or related field)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
• Knowledge of environmental regulations (Ga-EPD, ADEM, MDEQ, Florida DEP)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external vendors
• Must reside within 1 hour of The Energy Center
• Preferred Skills
• 3D modeling software experience
• Utility or infrastructure project background
• Field construction knowledge
• Mentoring and training capabilities

Job Type : Contract

Pay : $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
