Our legal team needs a diligent, organized, and experienced personal injury paralegal. Our busy law office is looking for a case manager / paralegal to help us oversee all aspects of case management. Ideal job seekers will be incredibly organized and have experience drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing case files. Compensation :

$55,000 - $65,000+ Yearly DOE other benefits available

Responsibilities :

• Handle significant pre-litigation caseload from file setup and intake through demand negotiation, settlement, lien negotiation, etc.
• Handle moderate litigation cases as needed; drafting pleadings, discovery requests, disclosure statements, etc.
• Making and receiving calls, case-related calls.
• Drafting letters and other documents related to balances, medical records, etc.
• Organizing, reviewing, and summarizing medical records.
• Filing, Calendaring, and other clerical and / or case-related duties.
• Support attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as needed.
• Interface with staff, attorneys, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries / updates, and ensure that deadlines are met.
• Complete legal research to obtain documentation regarding medical records, health insurance, social security, and medical providers.
• Inform clients and outside counsel on case status as requested.
• Draft legal documents for attorney review.
