Job Title : Maintenance Millwright

Job Description

Perform all levels of repair and precision maintenance to conveyors, belting, compressors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, structures, and all associated equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, provide recommendations for repairs, and make all critical machine and system adjustments. Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision. Modify and fabricate machine systems through welding, cutting, grinding, and bolting. Test and verify the correct operation of all repairs and adjustments. Accurately document repair and wrench time information in the company CMMS program, including Cause, Correction, and Confirmation.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair machinery related to the unloading, loading, transfer, and storage of cargo, including conveying equipment, pulleys, gearboxes, drag conveyors, structures, hydraulics, ship loader, stacker reclaimer, and various support equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, build prints, and follow engineering drawings.
• Use precision measuring devices, including gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, alignment tools, levels, and torque tools.
• Communicate thoughts and ideas effectively in both verbal and written form.
