Position Description :
Texas State University seeks applications for two open rank tenure line faculty positions at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor to teach in the area of Digital Humanities (DH). We define DH broadly as both the use of digital technologies to complement, intersect with, and expand the understanding of, the Humanities as well as focusing a humanistic lens on the methods and results of emerging sciences and technologies.
Responsibilities :
The successful candidate will join the department(s) appropriate to their area of scholarly focus and will be assigned the appropriate rank based on college and university rules and policies. In addition, the successful candidate will help lead the proposed Ph.D. program in Applied Humanities.
