Job description

Position is on-site in  Lisle, IL We are seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to work directly with the founder to lead the launch, scaling, and management of the business (Fintech Saas startup).

This is a unique role that combines product, growth, and operations, offering you a foundational leadership position in the company.

This role is a full-time position with a  significant equity grant that vests over four years , including a one-year cliff.

What You'll Do Launch & Growth Strategy :

  • Lead the development and execution of our go-to-market plan.
  • You will be responsible for defining our target market, positioning the product, and driving initial user acquisition.

Product Management :

  • Own the product roadmap.
  • You'll work with the engineering team to translate customer feedback and market needs into new features, ensuring the product is intuitive and solves real problems.

    • Customer & Community :

  • Be the voice of our early users.
  • You'll actively gather feedback, conduct interviews, and build a community of early adopters who will help us refine and grow the product.

    • Business Operations :

  • Manage all non-technical aspects of the business.
  • This includes financial planning, vendor management, and ensuring we meet all necessary legal and compliance requirements.

    • Hiring & Management :

  • As needed, you will identify, hire, and manage contractors or additional team members to support our aggressive growth plan.

    • Who You Are An Experienced Builder :

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role at an early-stage SaaS or technology startup.
  • You have a proven track record of launching a product from scratch and achieving initial traction.

    • A Versatile Generalist :

  • You are comfortable wearing multiple hats and switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution.

    • Data-Driven :

  • You use metrics and data to make decisions.
  • You can define key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze results to identify growth opportunities.

    • Industry Knowledge (Preferred) :

  • You have a strong understanding of a complex, traditional industry and are familiar with major players and market dynamics.

    • Entrepreneurial Spirit :

  • You are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about building a business from the ground up.
  • Qualifications A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a startup environment, ideally in a general management, product, or growth-focused leadership role.
  • A portfolio or detailed case studies of past product launches and growth initiatives are a strong plus.
